  • While in this state, individuals remain aware of their surroundings yet feel profoundly calm and receptive. The client remains in control of themselves at all times. When most people think of hypnosis, they think of stage hypnotists controlling someone’s actions. In hypnotherapy, you can get up, move around and talk to me at your own will. Hypnotherapy gives you more control as it allows you to manage your mind better, so you are more intentional in your thoughts, words and behaviors.

  • Clinical hypnotherapy can effectively address thoughts, habits, and behaviors but it is important to note that it is not a quick fix. While we will achieve significant progress during our sessions, your commitment to your health journey is essential for lasting change.

  • Hypnotherapy is a natural state that we move in and out of throughout our day. If you have ever zoned out while driving, watching T.V., or working on something relaxing you may have drifted into a state of hypnosis. We also pass through the state of hypnosis while we are falling asleep at night and first thing in the morning.

It is a heightened state of concentration and focused attention, wherein individuals are guided into a deeply relaxed state of consciousness. Within this state, the mind becomes highly receptive to therapeutic suggestions and insights, allowing for profound exploration. It is a learning state that allows us to take in information quickly.

By accessing the unconscious mind, hypnotherapy enables individuals to uncover underlying beliefs, patterns, and emotions that may be influencing their thoughts, behaviors and overall well-being.

Hypnotherapy often feels like a deeply relaxed and focused state, similar to the moments just before drifting off to sleep or that which is experienced during meditation.

  • Hypnosis is a tool that can be used during our sessions but only if the client wishes to use it. Coaching is extremely effective whether we use hypnosis or not. I use a wide range of scientifically proven tools including thought work, imagery, energetic principles and breathwork to help you learn how to regulate your nervous system faster and take control of how you feel.

  • The ability to go into the state of hypnosis is based on each person’s unique learning style. Prior to 1970, there was only one way to induce hypnosis. The type of hypnosis I practice takes into account how you learn, and I adjust my language accordingly. I will test you for this information in our first session together.

  • Coaching helps us have a greater understanding of how our mind works which gives us more agency over our thoughts, actions and behaviors. Ultimately, this gives us more control over our life and the reality that we create.

Whether you're interested in having a different relationship with your pain, being less reactive with your children or partner, looking to elevate your performance in sports or at work, or simply desiring to be more fulfilled with a clear sense of purpose, coaching can be instrumental in getting you there.
